Trunk Line Service is a regular telephone service connected to an equipment either Key Telephone System (KTS) or a Private Automated Branch Exchange (PABX) that allocates calls to several locals terminated to individual users within the company.
The trunk lines are composed of trunks and local (ratio of 1:4). The KTS / PABX/ PBX can also have Interactive Voice Response System, auto-attendant and attendant console for operator.
